An intimate portrait of the friendship between C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, built entirely out of found material: letters, journals, biographies, and novels. Centered in a meeting of the Inklings in the namesake pub, THE EAGLE AND CHILD explores friendship, family, and faith while also revealing insights into the creation of Narnia and Middle Earth.
